Got to Crescent check point at 1:15 AM Temp was about -20 and still dropping. I had planned on sleeping there for 3 or 4 hours but they had a funky rule that you could only sleep inside for an hour. So I took my hour and spent they rest of the time eating and hanging out. Left at 6AM for the last 21 miles. The temp was reported to be in the area of -30 to -40. Had a hard time keeping hands warm. Having a hard time typing because all my finger tips are still numb.Finished at 12:24 PM

Left Blackduck shelter at 4:30 AM got to 1/2 way checkpoint (mile 72) at 9AM stayed for an hour and hit the trail again. Midnight found me about 4 miles from Crescent checkpoint. The lows over night were reported to be -25 to -30
