Blend ride, a flat 100km's just to hit the target. Fairly cruisy pace with a couple of efforts. The boys died in the last 20 kms so we cruised back to the shop.

Happy with how I held up after realising I didn't do a century at all last year, felt good at the end of the ride but fell asleep on the couch at lunch time.

5 min efforts with a very strong tide. I skipped the first effort as I was getting a sharp pain through my left tricep every time I put the blade in the water. After about 10 minutes it went away and I could complete the set. slow going coming back through the traffic bridges down near freo.

I finally got around to changing out the chainrings on the bike about 6 months after I bought replacements. The old ones didn't look too bad until I compared them to the new ones. Worked OK going to work but clicking sound is still pissing me off.

Ride out to Point Walter for dinner with the girls, coming around the fromt of the Left Bank with a stonking tail wind I put in some effort to start overtaking the cars. nice stretch along there.

Run from home. Took it easy since the last few runs have been pretty average and I just wanted to plod through this one. Right hammie twinged a bit up the hills and I can feel it afterwards dammit.

6-8-10-12-10-8 L3 Pyramid with Eddie. Tide was roaring today which inflated the early speed. It then punished the return speed however. The old right hammie injury is officially back, I could really feel it whilst leg driving.

Caitlyn seems to know when I want to ride the long way to work and wakes up early on these days. Still I only got out a bit late and went around the river. Picked up a lift from near Mt Henry all the way around to UWA. I took a couple of little turns on the front but he was much stronger and did most of the work.
