British Middle - Embarrassing! Should just have stayed in Scotland, wasted 700+ round trip as Dad had as bad a run! Scrappy start, struggled to see hidden controls, got annoyed and made a big mistake as I kicked on on an easy running leg. Game over but eventually stopped being frustrated, slowed down and was more respectable until I ran past the 2nd last hidden control. Not what I train for but a medal was there for the taking today. I'm running too fast/rushing and feel like I'm having to put the breaks on, fitness ironically not helping, could easily have finished higher up jogging. Glad I made the effort to go yesterday so not a wasted weekend.

Allan Scally Relays with the girls. Last leg so basically a solo run, feel stuck in XC pace but finished really strongly. Alright for coming out of winter training, ready to add speed work and super happy with team bronze.
