Bike (spin) 1:00:00 [4]

Climb, climb & more climb!

Tuesday Feb 26, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [1]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

Reverse of yesterday. A bit better run but just not feeling fluid lately.

Monday Feb 25, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [1]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

Low intensity but feeling pretty gassed today. Hurt more than it helped. Going to be one of those weeks i think.

Sunday Feb 24, 2008 #

Run 20:00 [1]

Yoga 1:30:00 [3]

Tough class but needed it. Feeling more stretchy now.

Thursday Feb 21, 2008 #

Run 30:00 [3]

Dirty-30. Made a stop in Vulcan AB. Can you guess the tourist trap there? Had to see it for myself.

Tuesday Feb 19, 2008 #

Run (treadmill) 30:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Burn 3

Hate these devices

OTHER (elliptical thingy) 20:00 [1]

Note

In Lethbridge for a conference. The machines are ghetto here...the website grossly mislead me on the facilities. Should have brought outdoor clothes, they have a neat coulee trail system right behind the conference centre...not mentioned in any tourism stuff i tried to find.

mmm...hot tub and pool.

XC SKIING 2:00:00 [3]

Family Day and spent it with my brother from a different mother in Kananiskis. Whacky conditions out there. Unbelievably warm out and made the trails soooo variable. Was sliding like a mad man by the end and it wasn't flat today at all which sucked more. Just spent. As the cowboys would say it was a shitshow. Still great to be out there though, the mountains were pretty spectacular today.

XC SKIING 2:00:00 [2]

Wicked conditions at Canmore, felt easy compared to yesterday when the grip and glide works (perhaps better grooming is the bigger factor). Bumped into Terri and Bart. Work follows me everywhere.

Saturday Feb 16, 2008 #

XC SKIING 2:00:00 [3]

Classic at Baker Creek and Pipestone. Pipestone is pretty neat, have to go back there and explore more...just a bit far. Finally saw Lake Louise after all this time. Car got stuck in the parking lot of LL. Haven't pushed a car in years.

Friday Feb 15, 2008 #

Bike 40:00 [3]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

Ran like my ass was on fire. Felt good today.

Thursday Feb 14, 2008 #

Bike 1:00:00 [4]

Switched into Thurs Class. Much better workout and the instructor even feeds us at the end with organic muffins. Bonus.

Wednesday Feb 13, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

Tuesday Feb 12, 2008 #

Bike 1:00:00 [3]

Gotta try to switch to Thursday's class. Ho-hum.

Monday Feb 11, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [2]
shoes: Montrail CD (2)

Still feeling a bit ill from the weekend bender. Felt flat out there and the gusty westerlies hurt on the way back.

Sunday Feb 10, 2008 #

Run 20:00 [1]
shoes: Montrail CD (2)

Yoga 1:30:00 [2]

Good paced class

Note

Took a few days off since I was feeling pretty run down. Hopefully that helped. Although the first annual Swamp Donkey Awards on Friday put me out of commission yesterday. Not your normal Leaky Wader Awards.

Wednesday Feb 6, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

Felt awful through the whole thing.

Tuesday Feb 5, 2008 #

Bike 1:00:00 [3]

Didn't feel too bad but the class was a bit choppy with this new instructor. Shouldn't these people be fitter than me? She was struggling and pooched by the end.

Monday Feb 4, 2008 #

Run 40:00 [2]
shoes: Brooks Axiom 2 (Green)

With bags under the eyes it probably suggested I shouldn't have gone out. Didn't feel too bad out there but probably regret it tomorrow during spin class. Need a good nights sleep.

Sunday Feb 3, 2008 #

Run 20:00 [1]
shoes: Montrail CD (2)

Yoga 1:30:00 [3]

Another tough class.

XC SKIING (Classico) 2:00:00 [2]

First time in K-Country for skiing. Slow snow due to the infrequent grooming but otherwise not a bad ski at all. Pretty quiet for most of it. Hit the Village afterwards for food and drink.
