Azsusa parking lot off San Gabriel Bike Trail to Baldy Ski Lift's, flat tire on decent on steep switch backs, hitting a bad pothole that sliced the tire, glad I was leaning back as the wheel was rubbing ground quickly, just feathered break back break stopping on gravel turnout. My spare tire had a tear when I pulled out of bag, bad news, thankfully there groups of riders coming up the mountain doing the ride the Amgen Tour will be doing in a few weeks. The guy had a shim to use as a buffer between the tire and tube, just took it easy down GMR and East Fork, and Hwy 39 to car.
