Trail race (Chichester parkrun) 22:58 [5] 5.0 km (4:36 / km) +40m 4:25 / km
ahr:146 max:157 shoes: saucony swerve

Parkrun was cancelled at the last minute because of (traveller) litter, but I really really needed an aerobic workout so did it anyway. Along with quite a few others. Why wouldn't you? JB suggested jogging together but I wanted to see where I was at. Really felt my three weeks off. Back was uncomfortable, chest was tight, bounce wasn't there. With HR almost maxing out, I was feeling better by third lap.

Cycling (Warblington lap plus ... ) 2:12:00 [3] 30.0 mi (4:24 / mi) +186m 4:19 / mi
ahr:110 weight:73kg

Didn't know what to do about widespread 'achy' feeling, so decided to go for a ride. Had a sunny if windy weather window. West Stoke, Funtington, Westbourne, Warblington, Southbourne, West Ashling, Bosham loop, home. Left shoulder started OK but was tightening by the end. Bit wheezy as well.

Note

A considerable amount of expense and effort for just 8 more Corbetts in 2019, but feel the quality! Six of them feature in the WalkHighlands top 20, and they include the top 3. Had good days for all of them too.
