MORE STUPIDITY

Long course setting by Julian in the nicest section of the Gumble map. A great morning of orienteering, marred only by my stupidity and weather a little on the warm side for the later starters.

The GPS track doesn't lie. I vowed to take the course carefully after yesterday. But caught 2 runners by no. 2 and got a bit excited. The idea was to end up in the gully that runs straight to 3, but initially go up the ridge on the right. A ridge too far and a long period of self seception meant I ended up way too high. Hard to belivee really. A slight wobble on 10 but couldn't undo the damage. You rarely can.
