yes... I was calculating and recalculating the run back as about 2.2 k and 14 mins at a 5- 6 min/k pace. It was tight and I lost track of where Mike was (who had got the same controls as me but was about 40 m behind me the last time I saw him )

how was the walk / swim across the marsh ... when I went to the camping in the evening I saw a big patch of open water right there to W of 217 . Now that might have been a good thing (open swimming .. rather than thrashing).
