Running 7:47 [2] 1.23 km (6:20 / km)
shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

Jogging around before the start, waiting for Emma to finish.

Orienteering 58:40 [4] 7.44 km (7:53 / km)
shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

Måsenstafetten 2009. I was running on one of Linne's six relay teams, with Emma and Johanna. I ran by myself the entire time, occasionally seeing some other girls but not really running together with them. There was some snow in the forest and it was wet and muddy as always, but nothing significant. I had a satisfactory run, certainly an improvement over last year's. Towards the end, I could feel some pain at the back of the foot. This was the longest run I've done in months and the terrain is not easy for feet/ankles. Several times when I fell through (ice, mud, etc.), it felt as if I'd yanked my achilles. So I'll have to be very careful the next few days and hope I didn't do any real damage.
Here is my quickroute from this year (green = faster, red = slower). And here is my quickroute from 2008!

Running 13:00 [2] 2.23 km (5:50 / km)
shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

Running to the start and then around to keep warm.

Orienteering 53:48 [3] 6.14 km (8:46 / km)
shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

Training course. Kringelträffen, D21, 5.1 km, 12 controls, Almnäs, 1:15, 5m.

Lots of snow on the ground and I was the first starter, so small trails were impossible to distinguish and big trails required a bit of checking (usually looking both ways and seeing a line of treeless forest was sufficient). Also, really tough running in some places. Good training, although not very pleasant. Map, route, and comments here.

Running 38:29 [2] 7.0 km (5:30 / km)

Easy run in Stadsskogen, looking at a map from Hungary. It's been cold and windy the last week, so the trails are all solid ice again. :(

Stretching 5:00 [0]

Calves tight, especially left one. Left hamstring feeling almost normal - did not need to stop and stretch it during the run.

Left foot felt stiff at the back when doing calf exercises.

Cross-Training (biking/erg) 8:00 [2]

Strength Training 5:00 [1]

10th time seeing Jörgen today. He had me do a test to measure my flexibility, balance, and general form when doing exercises. Then he showed me the proper way to do ab exercises, since I failed that one. I know what I need to work on!

Orienteering 1:09:13 [2] 5.93 km (11:40 / km)
shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

A ~4km course on Nacka which Boris designed for me, with about 20 controls on either cliff or rocks. There was snow on the ground, but it was only deep in a couple of places, so runnability was usually ok. Goal was to practice routine for each control circle and also know where I was at all times. I give myself an A+ for effort, but a B for results. I have no idea what happened on the 9th control. It was a very vague area and I couldn't relate the map to the terrain at all. Then I headed to the 10th control and even thought I found it, although it's obvious from the GPS route that I didn't....It was good again after that. Map here.

Running 44:04 [2] 7.4 km (5:57 / km) +140m 5:26 / km
ahr:137 max:155 shoes: 2008 VJ Integrators

Two loops of the Norby track in the late afternoon, while looking at a map from Japan. Stopped to stretch my left hamstring and calf after around 30 minutes.
