Lightspeed 26:02 [3] 2.7 mi (9:39 / mi)

Started at 10 minute pace and slowly picked up the pace. Last .3 was at an 8:41 pace. Still feeling OK. Heading to Bemidji, so will not do any Lightspeed for 10 days. Look forward to getting back at it when I return. Taking my bike with me to Bemidji

To the soccer fields on Jean Duluth and back: 28:52/22:13: 6:01 pace going out and 4:37 pace coming back. More uphill than I thought. 80+ degrees today. Enjoyable ride.

Lightspeed 24:00 [3] 2.5 mi (9:36 / mi)

Tired, but felt good. Knees felt ok when I finished. Really in terrible shape. Just need to be patient and comeback slowly. Last quarter mile was at an 8:57 pace.

Tuesday Jun 25, 2019 #

In Proctor, rode along with some cc team guys. Warm-up.

Bike 16:48 [3] 4.0 mi (4:12 / mi)

Hard ride on a rolling 4-mile square.

Lightspeed 21:10 [3] 2.2 mi (9:37 / mi)

After talking with Bud at the marathon, decided to drop in and talk with Malcolm. After a long talk, gave it a try. Went .2 miles, then we adjusted straps. Then went 2 miles starting at 10 minute pace and dropped a couple of times, last .5 at 9:13 pace. (19:09 for 2 miles) Was video taped. Help seeing myself on the screen as I was running. Took a little time, but adjusted. Felt far more comfortable than what running had felt the past months of trying. Will continue with Lightspeed. See what happens.

Felt good to be back on the bike. Lakewalk, plus to and from.

Now that I am cleared to bike, was gong to bike today, but did not because of the rain. But walked for 50 minutes. Hopefully tomorrow I can jump on the bike.
