FVO event @ Coilhallan North.

Back at it!! Had a few foot ouchies when I stood on things on the bit it's bruised, but only a few times and the vast majority was good. Technically was a bit rusty, overshooting the final orange standard control was a personal highlight, and also the terrain speed was not there in the slightest, just couldn't run through any of the crap at any sort of speed, however I'm confident these things will come back pretty quickly! Took the dub so that's all that matters right ;)

Up in Fort William aiding Ali and Timbos Ramsay round. Had about 3 hours sleep curled up on the back seat of the car before this so not great feels but actually woke up nicely by the end. Lovely little run on path/trod in Glen Nevis.

Whythop woods. Down very briefly to collect my stuff and to also collect some Pfizer antibodies, can't wait to be tracked by the government ;)
Anyways the run was pretty good, very much a raz, however aerobically felt v comfy, quads a bit mashed from the cycling so downhills were shuffled, but then moving well on the Bass track. Happy days, time to get jabbed.

2 laps easy, 3 laps taking the climb and the flat section hard, then 2 laps easy. Felt alright on the efforts. It was such nice weather, could have kept going for ages but needed a pee real bad and also brekky was too tempting. Will run this afternoon :)

Back in the game. Legs had zero clue what was going on, I had to concentrate so hard at the start just to run and not fall over, also both myself and my watch had no idea what sort of pace I was running, somewhere in the 4-6min/km is my best estimate. Foot real good tho, will roll from here :)

Physio reckons bruised bone, no stressy. She recommended just building back into running straight away and the bruising should go in a couple weeks time, happy days.
