Through Mayfair to Hyde Park, then kept going west to Holland Park, and back, with a detour near the end to get over the hour. There seemed to be a lot more people out and about this morning than the last couple of weeks. It was like that during the week as well. Almost as if that once Boris announced his timetable out of lockdown on Monday people thought it’s over and have headed out again. The transition doesn’t start for another week, and the stay at home rule doesn’t finish until the end of March.

Got delayed until 10 due to an early start and back to back calls. Logged into a webinar at 9 which was supposed to be to assist staff in UK , but decided that the presenters had designed it as punishment for anybody who had suggested people needed more support. Gave up and went running in the drizzle as an infinitely more rewarding exercise.

Version of elephant run. Had an early start with back to back meeting between 6:30 and 9:30, s didn't get out until after 10. The plus was it wasn't as cold, but the downside was more people in Regents Park.

Outer and inner loops of Regents Park, anti-clockwise. Decided to go anticlockwise to avoid dazzle from the cyclists, but today was obviously a non-riding day and there was only a couple of riders out.

Highlight of the morning was seeing a fox trotting down Wardour St, which runs through the centre of Soho.

A bit slower this morning. Didn't get the best night's sleep so was feeling a bit tired. Got rained on half way as well.

Highlight of the day was getting first vaccination shot. Had a text from my GP yesterday afternoon inviting me to make an appointment. Rang up thinking it would be weeks away and was offered a slot this morning. Amazingly well run operation. 10 lines ticking people off, vaccinating and recording. Less than 10 minutes from going in the entrance to coming out the exit. Will get the second round by the end of March.
