Collaroy Centre - long line
Great little area, unfortunately too many stairs for my knees. Looking at the split some of the younger orienteers had remarkably quick splits in the maze, possibly as case of reaching through the ropes to punch :)

Including drills. Not feeling the love so pulled the pin on intervals.

Sydney Uni - Hard 2 (M55A)
Had my 3.5min win taken away from me as my SIAC+ didn’t register at 19. Stix was following me and saw me go to the control, can only assume I waved it from too far and forgot to hold it to my ear to check in the excitement. Caught Stix, my minute man, at 4 but couldn’t get away from him as every time I hesitated he was on me again. At least I know I went to all the controls and overall it was a good run. Great courses from Ali, shame about my result :( GPS trace screwed again.

[Edit & mea culpa] It didn't strike me until this morning that when I was told at download I had missed control 19, I had actually missed 20 on the map due to a control having to be dropped because of a new construction zone. I do recall running straight past 20 wondering why it wasn't on my course, probably more focussed on trying to work out which set of stairs the next control was at the top of. Oh well!
