SA sprint champs, Roseworthy campus. C 3. Jenny’s courses offered lots of choices and kept me thinking. Didn’t always pick the best choices -I had trouble reading fine detail ( need stronger o glasses ?) and didn’t feel very fluent except at moments. I also wished I picked a longer course to see a bit more and to get the fun grandstand control. Very nice location for a sprint event. There were some very fast times by juniors.

Semaphore park o, quite an interesting lot of route choices. Felt a bit clunky ( probably as I didn’t allow time for warm up and was rushing to the start which I know doesn’t work well for me.) 3.91 actual distance.

Run with Jenny and Fern. Had thought to swim instead but there were no spots in the pool by the time I went to book, and it wasn’t as hot running up the valley as I thought it could’ve been. Went up and over to come back via Melville house track.

I hired an ebike today from escapegoat to see what it was like ( rated intensity above as a 2). It was lots of fun I mostly rode on medium or light assist especially as I noted the battery was dropping fast. The battery did in fact run out going up Pole road as I was on my way back to drop the bike off, so luckily most of the way back was downhill!

Route was gully road to upper Sturt shop entrance, back down then up Queen jubilee drive, Stirling, Gully road, Greenhill toad, summit road, to Mt Lofty, Crafers, Heathfield, towards Scott creek, Bradbury, Heathfield, Evans drive, Ironbank road, Pole road and back. I have a sore butt and legs now.

Sprint series no. 3 Belair. Lots of fun. Happy with routes mostly although didn’t see the right hand side route to 5, and veered off toward wrong patch of trees on way to 9. I enjoyed having Leith there.

Underdale sprint event after a rainy day which flooded the Torrens so that water flowed over the footbridge to the start. It was quite a site.
