Win hill up and down effort. Then upto bamford a loop on top then back down to heatherdean. Set up parkin again but r calf tightening up so called it a day. (road shoes) Weather was shite. Very tight in the evo.

Donnard Challenge British Champs. Not bad all things considered. Took the descent quite gingerly. Got round in one piece -except for some stiches in my other shin which has been taking my mind off the heel.

Summer series 1 (Back Tor and Beyond) to test the foot in fell shoes and rough terrain. Felt ok but certainly not right. Certainly positive and given me hope for at least running next weekend. Real test on the lungs having not pushed it apart from a short effort last week. Heal stiff apres.

After zees half marathon in the moring we went to the beach near the airport. I ran along to MontaƱa Roja and did two efforts up it and then back. Pretty hot and nice sea dip apres.

Ran / hiked up Mount Teide. Extremely hot, very rocky and personally struggling to breath due to altitude from about 3000m (top is 3690ish). Unfortunately the wind was bringing Saharan dust across the sea and obscuring the view! Cable car down. Then I ran back to pick up the car from the "Bradley Wiggins" Parador Hotel. Think Bahrain Merida were staying there as we saw alot of them on the roads around.
