E up and City Creek with B from Memory Grove. Up past the Capitol, then up the trail, up the rd a bit more, down on the rd. Let it rip a few times on the way down but mostly really easy RPE to stay w/ B. Cool to get up there. After a rough start, I eventually felt okay. ~3.5mi on trail.

Low 20s but not much wind this AM. Legs still kinda heavy but felt pretty strong. Felt really good to run harder to clear out my brain after yesterday's junk show at work.

Cold. Teens with single digit wind chill. Stayed pretty comfortable though. Legs and head decent. Easy with some accels. Ran today b/c of the Brooks challenge on Strava. Was hoping they' do a discount code but I ended up buying the shoes I wanted already. Whatever. Good to detox a bit after drowning my sorrows a little yesterday. You will be missed, JB.

BH TH- P Line- up Grandeur in ~48 flat in the snow- P Line + 5x ~20sec hill strides up trail .25 from the TH, then 5 (6?) ~17 hill sprints/ bouning up P Fork rd. Cold, snowy. Spikes on for the descent. Legs tired but ok. Funny that the first time I went up Grandeur in the snow last year, it felt so hard I thought about bailing. Fun run. Winter is here, at least for today.
