JCCLG. With almost no rest, all the machine and weight exercises, but only two sets each. Also, 10 bar dips.

Lake Ranch Reservoir. Out a little late (picked up veggie box, had to wait for road work), didn't start running until after 11:30. Quads getting better but still sore. Took it easy on every upgrade, tried to increase the tempo a bit otherwise. Felt I could've run a little faster, but didn't want to get sore all over again. Considerably better than Monday.

Lake Ranch Reservoir. Quads still struggling. Running at slow pace, seems easy (except on upgrades) but doesn't feel like I could go faster. Had thought about going half a mile up past the lake (which L did) but instead ran an extra mile alongside the lake (plus a loopback waiting for L).

Sure hope this isn't my new baseline pace :-(

Note

Been using the roller on my quads a lot today (and yesterday a bit), and it seems to be helping.

Leisurely walk, down our trail, along the edge of Mackenzie's, down towards Bear Creek Redwoods. We walked slowly and stopped a lot, but there was a lot of climb coming back up.

Earlier my quads had felt not-so-bad, but after this walk, the stairs were now difficult.
