Neighborhood loop with a detour to mail some things. Nice and sunny when I started but clouding up when I finished. We're supposed to get more snow starting late tonight/early tomorrow.

Meadow loop in my O shoes. Not quite as hard work as the snowshoes but the trail was a sloppy, wet mess in many places so still a bit of a slippy-slidey slog. But another gorgeous day - sunny and 50. I was down to my shirt sleeves pretty quickly.

Just a quick arm session. I just bought 10lb weights so did a few sets of things using the lighter weights first and then the last set with the 10s. Not too big a difference on some things but really struggled with the heavier weights on the overhead press.

Just beautiful out today - full sun, temps in the 40's - so of course I had things scheduled where I had to be inside at my computer all day. Finally finished with everything a little after 3 and got out.
I had some serious cramping on the inside of my upper thighs last night from the snowshoeing. Those really hurt and it was severe enough that the one muscle actually feels a little bruised. Anyway, I decided to take it easy and just walked around the neighborhood.
Got an email from Penn Medicine saying to log in to schedule my Covid vaccine. I have an appointment Monday morning! I feel a bit guilty that it was so easy.
So I've been working on a huge (3000 piece) jigsaw puzzle. I did it once 10 or 15 years ago and then put it away. It seemed like a good idea to try it again. When I started, I had pieces on chairs and in boxes, on a folding table and on my big table. I figured it would take a while to get done. But once I got going it went faster and faster and I finished it this morning. Except there's a piece missing!!! I am usually pretty careful about that sort of thing so was really surprised that I put it away with a piece gone. But it kept me entertained for a few weeks so it's all good. Start of the jigsaw puzzle. Halfway done. 2999/3000 done.

A second round last night and 2 more today plus digging out my car. And then decided shoveling my neighbor's sidewalk was more appealing than hiking in the Wissahickon. I'm sure it's beautiful down there but it wasn't what I wanted to do so I didn't.
An unusual storm for here - it was snowing very lightly but for a very long time. It usually comes down hard when there's a big storm. I"m not sure what the official total is but it's probably just under a foot. It's warm enough - right around freezing - that the bottom of the snow was very wet and heavy.
